Son of Baldwinsville woman hit by car on Downer Street says she had seizure, doesn’t blame driver

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — In a moving message of forgiveness, the son of the woman found dead on Downer Street just outside the Village of Baldwinsville in December believes his mother, Tammy Landford-Michels, collapsed from a seizure and doesn’t blame the driver who hit her after.

In the statement given to NewsChannel 9, Dan Michels opens up about his mom’s history with epilepsy.

“One minute you could be standing there having a conversation with her and the next she would be collapsing into a seizure,” Michels wrote, adding that it happened at least a couple of times a month for the last 30 years…
