Central NY weather: Cool but dry on Sunday, followed by frost on Monday night

Central New York residents should prepare for widespread frost and possible freeze conditions as temperatures drop into the low to mid 30s on Monday night.

Sunday will bring cooler but mainly dry weather to the Syracuse area, with temperatures reaching the upper 50s to low 60s. A stray shower or sprinkle cannot be ruled out through the afternoon. Breezy winds with gusts of 20 to 25 mph are expected.
