CROGHAN, New York (WWNY) – A Marcellus man was arrested on fraud charges following an investigation into a construction complaint, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Paul F. Conklin met with a resident as a general contractor in July 2025, the sheriff’s office said. Conklin was hired to replace a roof on a residence and was paid several thousand dollars to begin the project.
