Judge to man who stabbed roommate to death in Clay: You should never get out of prison

Clay, N.Y. – A man was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison on Wednesday for stabbing his roommate to death in an apartment in Clay in 2024.

Quentin Piquet, 33, had pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of Brady Tyo, 32, for the stabbing that happened at around 1 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2024, at the Kimbrook Manor Apartments complex.

“I can only surmise that you’re a dangerous, dangerous individual who should never get out of prison,” Judge James H. Cecile told Piquet as he handed down the sentence on Wednesday…
