This Broadway actress left NYC to come home and grow Syracuse’s art scene

Actress Andrea Dotto knows if she had to choose between the roles of Anna or Olaf, it’s a no-brainer.

“I’m gonna be Olaf,” she said, smiling big. “I knew when I watched the movie for the first time I was like that’s my track. That’s my guy.”

Dotto, who goes by “Dott” personally and professionally, is the understudy for Olaf in “Frozen,” which opens for a six-week run at Syracuse Stage this week. She’s also in the ensemble of “Frozen,” a role that requires 15 wig and costume changes…
