Manlius pediatrician may not see ‘gravity’ of vaccine fraud charges, prosecutor says. Will new lawyer help?

Syracuse, NY — Manlius pediatrician Dr. Shareen Ismail has hired a new lawyer to fight her 21-felony count fraud case, essentially resetting the case two months after the grand jury indicted her.

Ismail, 49, of DeWitt, hired lawyer Zachariah Zallo to replace Shaun Chase, Zallo announced in court Monday.
