Upstate’s CEO drops hints about massive new ER, shares worries amid Micron surge

Syracuse, NY — Upstate University Hospital’s planned downtown $450 million annex will include an emergency room nearly four times the size of the current one, the hospital CEO revealed Tuesday.

The current emergency department is 30,000 square feet. Expect the new one to measure 100,000 square feet or more, Dr. Robert Corona said.
