Local Roots in Pierce County With Shoestring Circus
With deep roots in Washington, the Puyallup show is like coming home for Shoestring Circus co-owner and writer, Nicole Laumb. Raised in Graham since the age of 6, Laumb also lived in South Hill as a young child.
“I spent a lot of time in Puyallup growing up,” she says. “When I became a circus owner, it was a dream of mine to bring our tent to Pierce County. It is very sweet to see old high school classmates and perform for their kids, the teachers I had in school, and just be back in my home county with what I’ve built as an adult and get to share that.”
