Edgewood officials are about to move one of the city’s historic landmarks, a 124-year-old windmill, next to City Hall.
The city was awarded a state grant of $114,000 in June 2025 to relocate and refurbish the Edgewood-Nyholm windmill. The windmill currently sits across from city hall at 2284 Meridian Ave. E. in a small lot with limited access and a few parking spaces, Edgewood Mayor Dave Olson told The News Tribune via email recently. Soon, crews will move the windmill across the street, where it will sit next to City Hall.
