A major Tacoma employer informed the state this week that it plans to close its industrial site in the Tideflats.
Georgia Pacific Gypsum LLC filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the state’s Employment Security Department stating it would be closing its Tacoma gypsum facility at 1240 Alexander Ave.
