Driver killed after stolen SUV slams into metro bus in Kent

A driver in a stolen SUV was killed Wednesday morning after crashing into the back of a King County Metro bus in Kent.

The crash happened around 7 a.m., according to the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).

“A stolen vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided into the rear of a King County Metro bus near the intersection of South 277th Street and 83rd Avenue South in Kent,” said KCSO Sergeant James Ryan.
