Starting in November, you’ll have to get the security line timing right on your own. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s SEA Spot Saver program won’t be around much longer to help ease stress around catching a flight.
In a social media post on Sept. 10, the airport and Port of Seattle announced the program will no longer be available starting on Nov. 30, 2026. The program, which started in 2021, allowed flyers to go through an expedited security line at a reserved time. All reservations booked between now and Nov. 29 will still be honored at Sea-Tac’s Gate 4 entry point, according to the Port of Seattle’s website.

What is SEA Spot Saver?
SEA Spot Saver is a free reservation system for entering through security at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Up to five days before a flight, passengers could select an “appointment time” and arrive at a designated security checkpoint to enter a dedicated lane and go through the screening process…
