Maverick Washington LLC is warning that eight more casinos could close across Washington on Nov. 30, putting 850 employees out of work and bringing the company’s announced potential Washington job losses this year to more than 1,200.
The latest WARN notices come after Maverick already announced 426 layoffs at five other Washington casinos in 2026, potentially bringing the total number of jobs eliminated or threatened this year to 1,276.
The eight newly affected properties are Great American Casino in Everett; Chip’s Casino, Macau Casino and Palace Casino in Lakewood; All Star Casino in Silverdale; Casino Caribbean in Yakima; Crazy Moose Casino in Pasco; and Coyote Bob’s Casino in Kennewick…
