Belfair tow driver hikes into deep woods to rescue Uber Eats driver stranded by GPS

BELFAIR, Wash. — A Belfair tow truck driver said he hiked into the woods late Sunday night to help a young Uber Eats driver who became stranded after following GPS directions onto a private road.

Sam Cadle of North Shore Towing said the driver, a man in his early 20s who was unfamiliar with the area, called for help after getting stuck while making a delivery.

Cadle said the driver had been using Waze and followed directions down an unpaved road onto private property. The driver traveled about 1.5 miles before his car became stuck, Cadle said…
