‘Nobody would find your body’: Man last linked to missing Tacoma woman arrested on suspicion of murder

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police arrested a man on suspicion of murder after a welfare check led detectives to a missing person case, according to the Tacoma Police Department.

The investigation began April 1, when officers were asked to check on a woman in the 7600 block of Pacific Avenue after friends reported her missing.

Detectives assigned to the case arrested Kendrick Deshaun Bruce on April 1 on two counts of identity theft and one count of felony harassment, all with domestic violence enhancements…
