Mizu Steakhouse has permanently closed its Gig Harbor location.
The Japanese steak, seafood and sushi restaurant at 3116 Judson St. did not renew its annual permit, so the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department closed the location May 4, TPCHD spokesperson Kenny Via wrote in an email.
“When we close an establishment for non-renewal, they have the option to reopen as soon as they purchase a new permit,” Via told the News Tribune. “In this case, however, the owner informed us they are not planning to renew.”…
