TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tallahassee police are again urging gun owners to secure their firearms after reporting dozens of guns stolen from vehicles so far this year, with most taken from unlocked cars.
The Tallahassee Police Department said 46 firearms have been stolen from vehicles so far in 2026. More than 80% were taken from unlocked vehicles, according to the department’s post on X.
