Linebacker commit gave Florida State fans a sigh of relief after his recent visit

Florida State’s 2027 recruiting class is not in the spot that many fans want it to be, as they rank outside the top-50 in the 247Sports Composite. It is easy to be negative after arch-rivals Florida and Miami are being successful on the trail.

Miami’s Mario Cristobal just made the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and Florida’s Jon Sumrall has the “new car smell” after just arriving in Gainesville. Meanwhile, head coach Mike Norvell is entering his seventh season in Tallahassee, so the concern is valid.

Florida State only has seven commitments in the class, but they did land a pledge from last official visit weekend with three-star Eric Vaulx Jr. It also seems like the Seminoles could land four-star running back Jayden Miles too…
