TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was arrested Saturday afternoon after setting a fire in the woods behind the Forest Village Shopping Center, according to arrest documents.
Law enforcement says when they arrived at the scene, Daniel Harvell was “actively putting out a live fire in the woods, which had burned .4 acres behind the shopping center.”
Harvell told deputies he set the fire to clean up the area for his tent.
He was taken to the Leon County Jail and charged with reckless burning of land, court documents say…
