Lightning strikes have sparked multiple structure fires across North Florida and South Georgia in recent days, a trend experts say is being fueled by a mix of Florida’s summer storms and lingering drought conditions.
In the past few days, lightning has been blamed for several structure fires, including a Jefferson County workshop, a Grady County house and two Tallahassee residences.
