A 67-year-old Winter Haven resident claimed a $2 million top prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game on Monday, state lottery officials confirmed.
Rose Simmons presented her winning ticket from the “100X THE CASH” game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on April 20. She elected to receive her winnings as a single, lump-sum payment totaling $1,111,700.00.
