While hundreds of collegestudents are facing enrollment issues, Florida A&M University is holding its door open a little bit longer for admitted in-state students who may still be considering becoming a Rattler.
FAMU recently announced that its fall deposit window for Florida residents has been extended to Aug. 14 − which comes after the initial cutoff date of May 29 − and the grace period allows FAMU to work on its goal of reaching a university-wide enrollment count of 10,000 students for the fall semester.
But the extension also comes after over 500 incoming freshmen of Howard University – a private, Washington D.C.-based HBCU and one of FAMU’s sister institutions – say they were unexpectedly dropped from the school’s incoming class because they failed to meet a tuition payment deadline…
