Mike Norvell probably won’t make it to the Miami game and that’s a darn shame

There is nothing that would give Miami fans more joy than watching the Hurricanes knock out FSU and end Mike Norvell’s run with the Seminoles. It happened before in 2019, when Willie Taggart was canned the day after a 27-10 loss to the Hurricanes at home.

But as much fun as it would be for history to repeat itself, it’s doubtful Norvell will make it to October 17 at Hard Rock Stadium.

FSU fired Michael Alford after a listless run as AD with the Seminoles. His tenure was a failure in Tallahassee but turned out to benefit the Hurricanes because the program got to take home the full $20 million in CFP payout money without sharing a dime thanks to a lawsuit spearheaded by FSU and Alford. Thanks, buddy, maybe Mario Cristobal will leave some tickets at the gate for you…
