Valencia College President Kathleen Plinske and Florida A&M University President Marva Johnson are signing a new transfer agreement on Tuesday that creates a direct path from Valencia to FAMU.
The partnership, called the VC-FAMU Ignite Program, guarantees admission to FAMU for eligible Valencia College students who earn an Associate in Arts degree or selected Associate in Science degrees.
