Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Tallahassee Crash, Raymond Diehl Road Shut Down

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday morning after a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle near Raymond Diehl and Vassar roads in Tallahassee, sending the rider to the hospital and shutting down a major commuter corridor for hours. The crash happened around 6:50 a.m.

Raymond Diehl Road was closed in both directions between Vassar and Olson roads while officers worked the scene, according to WTWC Fox 49. The Tallahassee Police Department urged drivers to avoid the stretch entirely and said updates would follow as more information became available, per the same report.
