One FSU running back looked and ran like James Wilder Jr. at practice on Saturday

The running back will be a big part of the Florida State offense in 2026, even though Gus Malzahn is no longer the offensive coordinator. Mike Norvell wants to establish the running game to set up explosive passing plays.

It’s why many folk are still high on sophomore running back Ousmane Kromah for the 2026 season. FSU added a transfer running back from Texas, Tre Wisner. However, Kromah will likely have a large role in the running game, especially if he continues to break off runs like this one he had in Saturday’s practice:
