TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee grand jury voted not to investigate water quality concerns, according to the Tallahassee Region Environmental Group (TREG) and the state attorney.
According to a press release from TREG, the group submitted a petition for a grand jury review relating to the degradation of water quality in the community in February.
In that petition, TREG requested a review and issuance of a final report of the City of Tallahassee’s Sewage Phase II System Infiltration Project which is meant to address large amounts of storm and groundwater getting into the city’s sewage collection system.
