TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Residents of Tallahassee can now sign up to receive city news updates through text and email, expanding access to local government information.
WCOT, the City of Tallahassee’s government access channel, broadcasts on Comcast channel 13 and serves the Capital City through cable and online platforms. The channel is accessible to a global audience via live streaming on Talgov.com and YouTube.com/CityofTLH, according to a press release from the city.
Programming on WCOT includes live coverage of City Commission meetings and workshops, which are also recorded and replayed.
