Tallahassee man indicted on drug and firearm charges

TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Forrest Alan Price, a 31-year-old resident of Tallahassee, Florida, has been indicted on multiple federal charges, including drug possession and firearm offenses.

Price faces charges of possession with intent to distribute synthetic cathinone and methamphetamine, carrying a firearm during a drug-trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida. He appeared for arraignment before United States Magistrate Judge Charles A. Stampelos in Tallahassee, with a jury trial set for June 2, 2026, before Chief District Court Judge Allen C. Winsor.

If convicted, Price could face a minimum of five years and up to 40 years in prison for the drug possession charge, and a consecutive five years to life for the firearm charge. Additionally, he faces up to 15 years for possession of a firearm by a felon…
