TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Firefighters in Tallahassee responded to a mobile home fire on Aenon Church Road Tuesday morning, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.
At approximately 10:50 a.m. on April 21, the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched after a passerby reported a mobile home engulfed in flames. Responding units observed a large column of dark smoke while en route, and upon arrival, found a double-wide mobile home fully involved in fire. Due to the advanced fire conditions, crews quickly secured a water supply and initiated a defensive fire attack.
Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines to contain and extinguish the fire while simultaneously protecting nearby structures. A search confirmed that no occupants were inside the residence at the time, and crews successfully prevented the fire from spreading beyond the original structure.
