Tallahassee Police Department launches online crime reporting service

TALLAHASSEE, Florida — The Tallahassee Police Department has introduced an online service for residents to report non-emergency crimes.

This new online reporting service allows individuals to submit and print non-emergency reports at no charge, according to a press release from the Tallahassee Police Department. The service is designed to provide a direct and timely method for reporting crimes, with the requirement that all applicable conditions are met before submission. For emergencies, residents are advised to call 911 immediately.

The service includes filing traffic crash reports, as mandated by Florida Statute 316.065, which requires drivers involved in crashes resulting in injury, death, or involving an intoxicated driver to notify local law enforcement immediately.
