TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Lamar Bunch, a 35-year-old resident, has been indicted in federal court for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
Bunch appeared in federal court for his arraignment before United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick in Tallahassee. A jury trial is scheduled for June 22, 2026, before United States District Court Judge Mark E. Walker. If convicted, Bunch faces up to 15 years in prison for the charge.
The case is being jointly investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney James A. McCain is prosecuting the case…
