Florida State and Georgia announced on Thursday that the home-and-home series scheduled between the two schools had been cancelled, reflecting both the SEC and ACC commitments to playing nine conference games.
As part of a public records request, Tomahawk Nation received a copy of the cancellation agreement between the schools. It confirms both schools are negotiating with Tampa for a 2028 neutral site game.
The parties have mutually agreed to terminate the contract and all of the provisions of that contract, including payment requirements.
