Former Quincy City Manager indicted on federal firearm charge

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The former Quincy City Manager was indicted on federal firearm charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Robert Nixon was indicted on possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon charges on Monday.

Nixon, who was arrested in February, is also facing a slew of other felony charges, including grand theft and official misconduct.

He is accused of using his position to funnel over $30,000 into his business, Monterrey’s Cigar Social, between May 2022 and April 2023…
