TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)– The classic summer pattern with afternoon storms will continue for a couple more days before a pattern change is expected by the end of the week.
Temps today and tomorrow will heat up quickly with highs in the low 90s. Rain chances will increase after 1 or 2 pm with scattered storms drifting toward the coast through the evening.
A pattern change is expected Friday and into the weekend. A west wind will increase rain chances earlier in the day for morning showers generally near the coast. The west wind will push most of the heavy rain to the eastern half of the peninsula during the afternoon…
