OpenTable picked Lilac at the Tampa Edition and Elliott Aster at The Vinoy in St. Pete for its 100 best hotel restaurants across America. These were the only two from Tampa Bay. Eighteen Florida spots made the cut total.
According to That’s So Tampa, the picks came from over 10 million reviews left by diners. Each restaurant needed a certain number of reviews to qualify, then got scored through ratings and how many five-star reviews it received.
Both earned 4.8-star ratings. The list wasn’t ranked one through 100, so nobody knows where each restaurant placed exactly…
