Heavy downpours likely again Wednesday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Patchy fog and low clouds could form again this morning. Any fog that forms will dissipate before 9 or 10 am. Otherwise, it will be a dry and mostly sunny morning. Temps will warm into the upper 80s and low 90s.

Rain chances will increase a little earlier this afternoon. Storms will build and become scattered through the middle of the afternoon, then once again drift toward the coast early this evening. Rain chances will wind down after 9 or 10 pm.

Rain chances will stay elevated through the weekend with plenty of deep tropical moisture fueling heavy downpours each day, mainly in the afternoons. There could be a few morning showers Thursday and possibly over the weekend, but the majority of the rain will still fall in the afternoons…
