Health officials confirm first dengue fever death in Hillsborough County

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Health confirmed the first dengue fever-related death in Hillsborough County.

An FDOH spokesperson said in an email that health officials completed their epidemiological investigation into the death, but did not provide any additional information about the person who died.
