TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The summer pattern will continue for the next couple of days with dry mornings and scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Temps will warm into the upper 80s each day and it will be muggy Tue and Wed.
Big changes arrive with a cold front that will pass Thursday. This front will pass with a few spotty showers Thursday but much drier air will arrive behind it.
The drier air will bring lower rain chances and a big drop in humidity starting Friday lasting through the weekend.
Afternoon temps will be in the mid to upper 80s but the morning lows will be much cooler. Areas north of I-4 will wake up to temps in the mid to upper 60s. Along and south of I-4 temps will be in the lower 70s Friday through Monday morning.
