HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 41-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly attacking Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies with a knife on Thursday morning.
Deputies were dispatched at 10:18 a.m. to a home on the 11000 block of Clay Pit Road following a report that an adult male was threatening to harm his relatives or himself. Upon entering the house, law enforcement located Jarrett Brooks inside his bedroom.
According to investigators, Brooks refused to follow orders and verbally threatened to kill the responding deputies. Without provocation, he then kicked one deputy in the chest and tried to kick a Taser out of another deputy’s hands…
