Tampa-St. Pete Ferry Service Launches Multiple Boats & Lower Fares in 2026

Two boats will run the Tampa-St. Pete ferry route starting in late 2026. Riders will pay $10 each way. Officials from Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, City of Tampa, and council members from both cities announced this news in downtown Tampa.

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority board meets this week to approve purchasing both boats. Federal grants will cover costs between $2 million and $2.5 million per ship.
