TAMPA, Fla. – A late-night attempt to cross the interstate ended in tragedy Wednesday when a 35-year-old Tampa man was struck and killed by two different vehicles. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene on southbound I-75 near milepost 267 at approximately 11:30 PM.
According to state troopers, the pedestrian walked into the southbound lanes directly into the path of oncoming traffic.
He was first hit by a Nissan Sentra driven by a 57-year-old woman from Sun City Center. Immediately following the initial impact, a second vehicle—a Lincoln MKZ driven by a 20-year-old Lakeland woman—also struck the man…
