After a mainly clear and muggy start to the day, temperatures will quickly heat up into the 90s Monday afternoon and scattered downpours and storms will develop in the mid-afternoon.
The first half of the day features sun and clouds and sticky temperatures that will feel 5-10° hotter than the true air temperature.
Highs for most of the area will top out in the low 90s with some spots topping out in the upper 80s.
