‘High school takeover’ event at west Toledo bar ends with police deploying pepperballs Friday

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police responded to a west Toledo bar Friday night after groups of teenagers from graduating high school classes attended a takeover event at the location.

According to a report, police were dispatched to a bar in the 3500 block of Dorr Street for a “Toledo High School Takeover Part 2.”The event was organized and promoted by “PartyPnut” who police said invited nine local high school graduating classes and underestimated turnout.
