OPMobility is expanding its North American footprint with a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the greater Toledo area of Ohio, marking the company’s first dedicated exterior solutions plant in the Midwest and its 12th manufacturing site in the United States. The facility, scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2027, will create more than 500 jobs and strengthen the company’s capacity to serve the growing US mobility market.
The strategic investment positions OPMobility in the heart of a region that represents more than 40% of US automotive production. The Toledo location offers proximity to major transportation routes, enhancing logistics efficiency while optimizing lead times and reducing the transportation footprint for high-quality exterior systems, including bumpers, grilles, and tailgates.

The new facility will incorporate next-generation manufacturing technologies, including advanced injection molding and a high-efficiency double-sided paint line.
