Oregon’s Sundance Drive-In pauses online ordering and opens gates earlier on busiest days

OREGON, Ohio (WTVG) – Operators of Oregon’s Sundance Drive-In say they are making changes after what they called a “disastrous” weekend that drew a crowd big enough to overwhelm the drive-in’s concessions operation.

The opening weekend of “Toy Story 5″ brought a surge of customers, and operators said the biggest issue came from the drive-in’s online ordering portal for concessions.

Sundance operator Todd Williams said the drive-in typically gets about 10 to 20 online orders over a four-hour period on a normal night. On Friday night, he said the business received nearly 150 online orders within 25 minutes…
