South Toledo neighborhood loses power for nearly 20 hours during heat wave

TOLEDO, Ohio — A south Toledo neighborhood went nearly 20 hours without power as temperatures climbed during one of the hottest stretches of the year.

Residents in the Crossgate neighborhood near Cherrylawn Drive say the outage started around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after a tree fell on a power line.
