Relief from high temperatures doesn’t appear any closer, as record-high temperatures were observed across northern Ohio on Wednesday and the National Weather Service has extended its extreme heat warning for the region through Friday.
The high temperature recorded at the Lorain County Regional Airport on Wednesday was 98.1 degrees, with a high heat index — the “feels like” temperature factoring in humidity — that topped out at 103 degrees.
