TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A local laundromat owner offered free wash and dry cycles to anyone who walked in to his three locations Wednesday evening.
From 4 to 8 p.m., neighbors could visit Reynolds Laundromat in Toledo, Duds-N-Suds Laundromat in Oregon or Rossford Laundry & Tan to wash and dry up to six loads of laundry at no cost.
Owner cites rising costs as motivation
Matt Rasor, owner of all three locations, said he organized the event to give back to the community as everyday expenses continue to strain household budgets.
“Today is a special day for us,” Rasor said. “We wanted to set aside a day to just celebrate the community, recognize some of our customers, reach out to some new neighbors for us and provide free laundry services,” he said…
