TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Lucas County Canine Care & Control (LC4) is waiving dog adoption fees from July 5 through July 26 as part of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters adoption event.
The fee waiver applies to dogs five months and older or dogs over 25 pounds. Adopters are required to buy a Lucas County dog license to complete the adoption process.
LC4 said Empty the Shelters is the nation’s largest funded adoption event. BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors the event and works with hundreds of animal welfare organizations to reduce adoption fees to help shelter dogs find homes…
